"Better Than False Lashes" Review: Too Faced

I am always looking for longer fuller lashes and I hate having to apply false lashes every time I go out! So I caved and spent the $35.00 for this lash duo at Sephora.com 

This product is a three step process...

- First you apply the base coat.

- Second the flex-strecth nylon lash fibers.

- Third re-apply the mascara as a top coat.

This is a before and after picture on my eye.

While I don't use this system day to day I do use it almost every weekend and on special occasions; such as date night! This product has lasted for almost 5 months now and still has plenty of product left. Well worth the money, you won't be disappointed!

Halloween Wreath (Purple)

I made this wreath for my lovely mother! But if you visit my Etsy store you can purchase one just like it, or if you would like I have given you a list of items and the steps that I took to make this wreath!

I bought most of my materials at Hobby Lobby and a few items from Michaels.

The first thing you will need is one of these wreaths that already has the twist tie's attached. I bought this from Hobby Lobby. They also have them in orange if you wanted to use orange deco mesh!   

You also need to pick out what additional ribbon you would like, I bought these two.

First I went around and munched the micro-mesh so that it was just a plain black wreath, leaving every other twist tie open to all the colored ribbon.

                    

I went to Michaels and picked up these purple add-on's, so adorable! The purple pumpkins came on a stem and I just pulled them off individually. The leaves were all one bundle and I just pulled them apart.

Once I added the different ribbons to the remaining twist ties I hot glued the pumpkins and leaves around the wreath, not in any specific pattern.

Lastly I added this witch to the middle of the wreath that my mother had found at a local grocery store!

I hung up her wreath on my front door, it is so big and it looks amazing!

Reupholstered Chevron Chair!

This chair was a hand me down from my sister. She had the chair through-out college and when I got my first apartment it was my turn! It had been through the ringer, she had a cat with claws that tore up the from on the cushion and the pattern was red, green, brown and beige. Great for my college apartment but it was time for a new look and I am in love with the wooden frame so I just couldn't get rid of this beautiful chair!

So I went online and started looking for the perfect fabric, I kept coming back to chevron and while I know its a trend pattern I just couldn't help myself so I went ahead and purchased it from housefabric.com, it is a black and white and cost about $9.00 a yard.

This is the finished product!! Oh em gee I just love it :)
